I feel incredibly lucky to spend my life doing work that gives me a creative outlet. Looking back, making things is really all I’ve ever done. As a kid, I was always drawing paper dolls, cutting out their clothes, and building little worlds for them to live in. That early love for creating eventually led me through a career in art, teaching, and interior design.
Having recently sold the staging side of my business, I’m stepping into a wonderful new chapter. I’m now focusing entirely on Interior Design Consultations while finally giving my art and painting the time and space they deserve. Getting to a point where I can immerse myself in studio projects without running a full-scale operation has been a long journey, and it’s a space I’m deeply grateful to be in.
What hasn't changed is how much I care about making spaces feel right. The way objects and layout affect how we live every day still fascinates me. We might not remember every single detail of a room, but we always remember how it made us feel when we walked in. Helping someone find that connection with their own home is still one of the most satisfying parts of my work.
For me, creating isn't something I turn off at the end of the day. It’s in everything—hosting a dinner party, getting my hands dirty in the garden, or taking on home projects with my husband, Gary. As we move into this next season, Gary and I are looking forward to traveling more, sharing our home updates as we go, getting out in our VW Bus, and spending plenty of quality time with our kids and grandkids.
Thank you for stopping by, and I’d love to connect if you’re looking for help with your space!
